ODT Thermal Insulation Contractor in Center Line, MI

Our thermal insulation service for buildings not only ensures that homes and business areas maintain an optimal temperature and are comfortable, but also enhances their energy efficiency to reduce energy bills for our clients. We provide our thermal insulation service to projects of any size, whether they are big, public, smaller, or even more local ones. Moreover, our team is professional enough to work seamlessly with builders, contractors, other construction workers, and property managers. We use high-quality insulation material to properly insulate areas in various areas in a building, such as:

  • Attics: Adding insulation to your attic is a more cost-effective solution than investing in heaters and air conditioners to improve comfort during both winters and summers. This is because attics are a major source of energy loss in a building. ODT Insulation Contractors install high-quality insulation material like fiberglass or spray foam in attics in an energy-efficient manner.
  • Walls: Walls may appear rigid and tight, but the fact is air can leak through them, causing drafts and making your building not energy-efficient enough. We install insulation in both the exterior and interior walls of varying types of buildings, such as those under construction, newly completed, or existing ones.
  • Crawl Spaces: Truly, crawl spaces are hard-to-reach areas, but at ODT, we can reach those tight corners and prevent them from energy loss. We also insulate ductwork, pipes, and furnaces within these crawl spaces to keep floors and walls warmer in winter and cooler in summer.

Proudly, we have worked with several sound engineers to insulate theaters, recording studios, and green rooms.

Benefits of Insulations

While most people in Center Line, MI believes insulation service is solely meant to maintain optimal room temperatures for comfort, it is important we further enlighten you how it could further benefit you, your workers, family, household and the environment. Here are few reasons why you need to insulate your building:

  • Prepare your building against Temperature Extremes: It gets too cold in winter and too hot in summer. Good insulation keeps your building comfortable all year round. No matter how harsh the temperature could be at any time of the year, good insulation keeps you warm when it's cold and blocks heat during the summer.
  • Reduces Energy Bill: Having good insulation in your building helps you not to necessarily overwork your HVAC systems for longer periods of time. Good insulation keeps rooms within the building at the desired temperature for longer, which makes you spend less on energy bills and maintenance fees.
  • Noise Reduction: Eliminating unwanted noise is another way to create comfort, as distractive noises from internal and external environments can be frustrating. However, you can reduce this noise by hiring an expert who can insulate your building well. To further improve the sound quality of a building, contact ODT for acoustic insulation.
  • Pest and Moisture Resistant: To keep buildings valuable, they need to be moist-free to avoid mold growth and free from pest infestation that could damage the internal structures of the building. Gratefully, most insulation materials come with a chemical that naturally resists moisture and keeps pests away.

Customer Reviews

I own a small recording studio, and sound quality is what I have been battling with. ODT wasn’t just about installing foam inside walls and roofs and walking away. They had conversations with me and my sound engineers to understand what we wanted for the acoustics. They understood their assignment and installed materials unique to each recording room based on our needs. Now, my clients love the improved sound quality.

Our office was so cold last winter, and I thought it was because of the way the office building was constructed, but ODT changed my thought and showed me how much proper retrofitting can create a positive impact in a work environment. After they did their job, our office became warmer, and there were fewer complaints from staff about the cold. As a result, we focused more on work, which in turn boosted productivity.

During the crawl space insulation, they discovered issues with our ductwork that previous contractors had completely missed. They solve the problem and recommend how to improve our HVAC efficiency

Center Line, MI Insights: Population,
Zip Codes, Influence, and Service Areas

Historically, the land that Center Line came to occupy was swamp and wilderness until the early nineteenth century. As land became scarce, French, German, Belgian, and Irish immigrants began clearing the forests and draining the swamps. Center Line was known as "Kunrod's Corner" during the mid-nineteenth century. The theory is that the French named it "Center Line" because it was the middle of three Potawatomi trails from Fort Detroit to northern trading posts. The "center line" was the trail used from Detroit to Utica. The community received its initial start when Catholics decided to build a church so that they would not have to walk to St. Mary's in Detroit for Sunday Mass. This church (St. Clement's) was established in 1854 and attracted more Catholic settlers into the area. In 1863, the first general store was constructed by Joeseph Buechel. On July 19, 1878, Hieronymous Engelmann was the first postmaster, and he was succeeded in 1885 by Sophia Buechel. The "Centre Line" post office closed on July 31, 1906, and the name was restored to Center Line thereafter. In this era, street car tracks connected Detroit to Center Line along Van Dyke Road, and Ten Mile Road was the final stop of the street car. The village was incorporated in 1925 in the center of Warren Township, which is now the city of Warren, and was incorporated as a city in 1936.
